Mostafa Mohamad
I am system developer and e-business consultant by education, logistics manager by profession, and an academic by nature's endowment. Luckily started my career at Cairo University-Benisuef Campus as an assistant lecturer working with big titans of the business science, then joined the Automotives industry for more than six years. My professional career started as an ERP specialist at IDACO Automotives. Then upgraded to logistics manager at MOBICA. Co, the biggest MNC for automotive and interior design in the Middle East.
Eagerly, I reattached myself with academia, with two masters. The latest MSc has been received from Liverpool Business School where I got a distinction and conducted my research on the e-health service in the UK.
Honorably, joined MBS in 2009 and commenced my PhD in mobile financial service. Currently, I lead an action research project for developing mobile money grid in Egypt. The project explores the socio-technical issues and how cross-sector collaborations take place among mega institutions such as Vodafone, telecommunication authorities, FMCGs, Central Banks and meso level organizations like Microfinance Institutions and other forms of NGOs. Using both qualitative and computer aided software (e.g. NVivo), I explored different organizational, personal, and technical factors shaping the sustainable development of the mobile money grid.
In parallel, I have been leading seminars, facilitating master projects, delivering guest speeches since 2009. Above all, I work as a mentor for the Graduate Teaching Assistant and an associate of GTA’s accreditation committee.
