Former working group chairs Brian Fitzgerald and Kevin Crowston were awarded the IFIP Silver Core Award, joining an illustrious group of IFIP WG 8.2 awardees.

I am pleased to be able to announce the results of the recently concluded election for officers of IFIP Working Group 8.2.

For secretary, we have an unanticipated outcome: a tie between our two candidates. After discussion amongst the current officers and the two candidates, we have jointly concluded that the best way to honour the vote from the membership is to have both candidates serve as secretary.
