OASIS abstracts deadline extended to 30 Sept 2014

The deadline for submission of extended abstracts for the IFIP WG8.2 Organizations and Society in Information Systems (OASIS) 2014 Workshop has been extended until 30 September. For authors who have already submitted abstracts, the organizers will be in touch by 24 September. This year, OASIS and the working conference are being run as an integrated event, providing the benefits of both events to all attendees.

IFIP 8.2 Workshop in Conjunction with AOM meeting, Philadelphia, PA, USA, August 3, 2014

Attending the Academy of Management meeting in Philadelphia this year? Looking for something to do on Sunday afternoon in Philly? Why not join a friendly and cordial group of like-minded researchers for an engaging chat?

In conjunction with the Academy of Management meeting in Philadelphia, IFIP 8.2 will be holding a workshop from 1:15pm-4:15pm on Sunday, August 3, 2014, preceded by an optional lunch. The workshop will be held at the College of Computing & Informatics, Drexel University, and will be free of charge.

Volunteers sought as faciliators for an Oasis Workshop to be held at the upcoming Working Conference in Auckland, December 2014

We are currently seeking volunteers from the WG8.2 community who are able to attend the upcoming IFIP WG 8.2 Working Conference in Auckland, NZ and are willing to act as a facilitator of a roundtable discussion session. If you would be interested in making a contribution to the WG8.2 community in this way, please contact Bill Doolin at bdoolin@aut.ac.nz.
