OASIS Workshop and Business Meeting 2024

A number of enquiries have been received regarding 8.2’s presence at ICIS 2024 in Bangkok.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to host our bi-annual OASIS workshop in conjunction with ICIS this year. A series of logistical issues have complicated the organization of the planned workshop and we were unable to pull things together in time. We are aware that some of you were looking forward to OASIS this year and apologize for any impacts this decision may have. We are currently exploring other options for OASIS to be held in conjunction with another big conference, likely in the summer of 2025. We will let you know as soon as further details are available.

With OASIS not happening in Bangkok, we have also decided that our annual business meeting will not be held at ICIS either. With most of the officers not traveling to Thailand, we felt that another solution would be needed. We are therefore organizing a virtual business meeting for January 15, 2025 at 20:00 UTC. Please reserve this in your calendar, further details will be mailed out soon.
