In continuance of the OASIS pre-ICIS workshop 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark, on “Criticality and Values in Digital Transformation Research,” we share the call for papers for a special issue in the European Journal of Information Systems. We look forward to receiving submissions from the IFIP community and particularly, the OASIS 2022 workshop attendees.

+++ Short Call for Papers +++

Digital technologies and our world are deeply enmeshed shaping our lives into a digital world.

Automation systems

I am in the process of being trained to program and configure automation systems. The concept is very interesting in the sense that given a building without any technology on it, it;s practically an empty shell and when we start to place devices in that building to calculate power usage, control lighting, surveillance, controlled access e.g. biometrics, then we transform these empty shell into smart buildings.

Submissions now open

Submissions are now open for the IFIP WG 8.2 Working Conference in Turku, Finland (Monday, 6 June – Wednesday, 8 June 2011). Papers are due 1 Sep 2010. The full call can be found at http://www.wg82.abo.fi/callforpapers.php
