I'm a PhD student at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies. My research focuses on computer-supported cooperative work in the area of distributed collaboration, which I examine in the contexts of open source software development and citizen science, which is a form of public participation in scientific research. In these contexts, I study the interaction of organizational design, work design, and technology use in virtual organizations.
