Call for participation: IFIP Working Group 8.6 Doctoral Consortium in Mysore India

The deadline for applying for the IFIP Working Group 8.6 Doctoral Consortium has been extended to 28 February. The Doctoral Consortium is a workshop for Ph.D. students interested in and doing research on transfer, diffusion, adoption and implementation issues in relation to IT who are in the early phases of their dissertation work (i.e., the consortium is not intended for those who are finished or nearly finished with their dissertation). The IFIP WG8.2 conference will take place in Tampa on December 13-14, 2012 immediately prior to ICIS 2012 in Orlando. We invite you to participate in this exciting event that will include a keynote address by Dr. Allen Lee, research paper sessions on exciting directions in ICT research, and engaging panel sessions. Thought leaders in the ICT community are encouraged to participate and help in forming a vision and agenda for the future of relevant and rigorous ICT research methods and approaches for the next decade. Our goal is to broaden this discussion beyond the Information Systems community to include researchers from the many ICT-related disciplines.
